MLS® Integration Explained: What Canadian Realtors Need to Know

MLS® (Multiple Listing Service) is the database real estate boards use to share listings among member agents. DDF® (Data Distribution Facility) is CREA's system that lets that MLS® data flow out to individual agent and brokerage websites in a standardized format.

For your website, DDF® integration means your listings update automatically whenever the board's data changes — no manual re-entry, and no risk of showing a property that's already sold. It also means your site displays official, board-verified data rather than data lifted or scraped from another site.

Not every board offers the same fields or update frequency through DDF®, so coverage and refresh rate can vary by region. Prod Realty currently supports 50+ Canadian MLS®/DDF® boards — check the MLS® & DDF® Coverage page to confirm your local board.
